Pastor Ted Brust – Senior Pastor

Pastor Ted Brust is our Senior Pastor. He is married to Sue who is also an ordained minister. They have three grown children and five grandchildren; Christen resides near Hartford City, Indiana, and Kevin who is married to Tricia and lives in Owens Cross Roads, Alabama.  Stephanie, and her husband, Joe live in Lafayette, Indiana.

Pastor Ted and Sue have been at Bethel since August, 1998. Previously they pastored at Hastings, Nebraska; Phoenix, Arizona; and Holdrege, Nebraska. Pastor Ted has also served as Nebraska District Chi Alpha, Youth and Christian Education Director and Youth and Family Life Coordinator for the General Council of the Assemblies of God at their National Headquarters in Springfield, Missouri.

Pastor Jim Walsh – Outreach Pastor

Pastor Jim and Robin Walsh returned to Bethel after having served in several pastoral positions in Anderson, and West Lafayette, Indiana.  They have five children.  Torre is married to Andrew, and they live in Springfield, Missouri. Shayna is involved with the International House of Praise (IHOP) in Kansas City, Missouri. Jaron, Camryn, and Brady are still at home.  Pastor Jim's ministry area is junior and senior high and young adults.

Pastor Zachary Rainey – Children’s Pastor

Zachary Rainey enjoys serving as our Children's Pastor. The key to his success in children's ministry is his wife, Lizzy. She is also devoted to home-schooling, taking x-rays at a local hospital and painting. God has blessed the Raineys with four children. Their daughter, Sarah, is the director of the Otterbein Public Library. Zack, Austin, and Jayson are at home. Pastor Zack has previously served as a youth pastor and senior pastor. He also ministers as a hospice chaplain throughout this area, offering spiritual help to terminally-ill patients as well as support to families in bereavement.
